In the cloud networking course, we will see what the network needs to do to enable cloud computing. We will explore current practice by talking to leading industry experts, as well as looking into interesting new research that might shape the cloud network’s future. This course will allow us to explore in-depth the challenges for cloud networking—how do we build a network infrastructure that provides the agility to deploy virtual networks on a shared infrastructure, that enables both efficient transfer of big data and low latency communication, and that enables applications to be federated across countries and continents? Examining how these objectives are met will set the stage for the rest of the course. This course places an emphasis on both operations and design rationale—i.e., how things work and why they were designed this way. We're excited to start the course with you and take a look inside what has become the critical communications infrastructure for many applications today.
2 Religious and Ethnic Groups With so many different racial and religious groups in America, do we ever stop and wonder what our true differences are? Are we causing racism and discrimination because of our lack of information about other people. Let's take a look at mainline protestants and also look at people from Asian descent, and compare some of their differences to that of other religions and races and see some similarities and differences. The mainline protestants have a different view of the bible over many other types of religion, they see the bible as a historical document which has the word of god in it (Theopedia). Many religions believe that Jesus is the true way to salvation, but the protestants believe that he is one way, but there are other ways to salvation and not simply and only through Jesus. Many Religions are going to disagree, and many do disagree with the protestant religion because of their view. Most people believe that the only way to heaven and to god is to have salvation through Jesus, and without him there is no way to salvation. The protestants were the bedrock republican constituency, but are now starting to lean toward democratic constituency (Jones, 2013). The protestant religion was one of the larger religions many years ago, but is now shrinking and gets very little attention compared to Catholics. Discrimination is always a problem for a majority of religions because many of them cannot seem to get along. There are instances where state and government discriminate against religious groups as well. In turkey, the government is stated to have discriminated on the protestant community because of the amount of hate speech that is going on about their religion. It is a predominantly Muslim
